A fine copywriter

I made my bones at some of the UK & Ireland’s top creative agencies—most notably the mighty Work Club London (since subsumed into the Havas machine), and what is now Folk VML in Dublin, where I spent seven glorious years. From big ideas to straight-up copy, during a decade in the trenches I’ve created all kinds of work for all kinds of brands, in just about every medium.

Traditional campaigns

I’ve written TV, radio, print and outdoor advertising for a range of Irish and international clients, including Credit Union, An Post, Safefood, Brennans, Dublin City Council and Vodafone.

Non-traditional campaigns

Digital-first, social, experiential—I’ve helped create activations and branded content that show up in feeds, land in unexpected places and reach people in ways traditional media can’t.

Straight-up copywriting

Leaving big ideas and creative brand platforms behind, I have a background in less conceptual, more hard-working writing too—from website copy to social posts.

Other stuff

Here we have an enthusiastically-started but now semi-abandoned digital prints experiment and a selection of very unserious blog posts about business, media and communication.
